Hemp protein does not contain trypsin
inhibitors
Hemp does not contain as much protein as, for example, soy. However, cannabis does not contain so-called trypsin inhibitors
(which are contained in soybeans), hemp protein is much better than soy and can be safely
called the king of vegetable proteins.
Trypsin inhibitors are substances that inhibit trypsin. Trypsin, in turn, is a digestive enzyme that in thin
the intestines digest proteins. However, if protein-digesting enzymes are blocked by trypsin inhibitors,
protein naturally cannot be fully digested.
As a result, proteins that are free of trypsin inhibitors - for example hemp protein - can be
used by the organism much better and more comprehensively.
